Are you Ready to Crack any Interview that comes your way?

When you go for a job interview, there are some questions that the interviewer asks irrelevant to the position you are applying for.

By knowing appropriate answers to those questions you will reduce the stress that you may go through during the interview significantly and you will greatly increase your chance of grabbing that job you were dreaming about.

So in this post, I am going to discuss those questions and their answers with you so that you can face the interviewer like Robert Downey Jr. or say, with sheer confidence.

Let’s go…

Question 1: Tell us something about yourself.

As you know that this is one of the most popular interview questions and yet some people feel stressful and hesitant to answer it.

Your short identification and a brief explanation of your study/work experience, that’s all.

Preparing a bit for this answer before going to the interview will fetch much better results for you.

Question 2: Why should we hire you?

Obviously, the interviewer wants to know whether you are fit for the job or not. The best reply would be to differentiate yourself from other applicants by stating your unique abilities related to the job.

For example, if the job requires creativity, then you can emphasize your creative abilities (be honest).

Question 3: Why do you want to quit your previous organization?

This is also a very common question and also the trickiest one. Never commit the mistake of saying that you are changing your job because the old job has become monotonous or because of a low salary.

Your interviewer is smart enough to know that every job becomes monotonous after a period of time and you can find a higher salary somewhere else.

Before attending the interview, do some research about the company and try to find something unique about it to say in the reply.

“Because through your company I can do blah blah blah”, mention anything unique and you will be good.

Question 4: Tell us about your strengths and weaknesses?

You can use this question to your advantage by stating a weakness that can be considered as a strength.

For example, you can say that “My one weakness is that I am more disciplined than necessary so sometimes I get disappointed in committing even the smallest of mistakes”.

In this way, you will mention another strength but in a unique way. Just be careful not to overdo it or the interviewer will doubt that you are trying to trick him.

Question 5: A big problem you have solved before, tell us about it

Quite clearly the interviewer wants to know whether or not you will able to deal with stressful work situations.

So, in this case, you must be prepared with a genuine story or a situation that will highlight your excellent qualities and skills.

Question 6: What do you expect of yourself in the next 5 years?

The interviewer wants to know if you have high ambitions or not. The best thing about this is, as long as you are confident, you can say whatever you want.

Question 7: What is your expected salary?

If it’s your first job then you must try to avoid this question by telling him that you are a fresh graduate and you are not aware of the salary ranges.

If you get lucky, no one will push you to answer this question but it’s more likely that the question will be repeated.

Just keep in mind to give the interviewer a range not a fixed number. However, this question might mean that you have cleared the interview.

Lastly, Don’t Depend on your Job!

I started this blog around 6 months back after spending a tremendous amount of time on my personal growth through meditation, exercise, books, articles, and whatnot.

I am having an amazing time learning and spreading the knowledge and it’s getting me a decent reception right from the start.

So I would strongly urge you to work on your dreams doesn’t matter how hard your job is so that you can be the best version of yourself, not a robot who works on others’ commands.
